Le panda de Richard Orlinski est constitué de facettes angulaires, et pourtant la rondeur de ses oreilles, de son museau, de son ventre apparaissent avec évidence. Ces facettes créent des zones d’ombres et de lumière qui rappellent son pelage bicolore. Richard Orlinski met en valeur la force de ce mammifère sauvage, mais aussi son exceptionnelle douceur. Il le représente assis, massif, mangeant paisiblement une branche de bambou, indifférent à la menace qui pèse sur lui.

Richard Orlinski’s panda is made up of angular facets, and yet the roundness of his ears, his muzzle, his belly appear with evidence. These facets create areas of shadows and light that recall its two-tone coat. Richard Orlinski highlights the strength of this wild mammal, but also its exceptional sweetness. He represents him sitting, massive, peacefully eating a bamboo branch, indifferent to the threat that weighs on him.
