Le concept « Born Wild » de Richard Orlinski soulève la question philosophique de la différence entre l’homme et l’animal. Choisissant « Wild Kong » , le plus humain de ses animaux, le sculpteur lui donne l’attitude du Penseur, en hommage à Rodin. Contrairement à l’original dont la musculature exacerbée contraste avec une attitude pensive, l’artiste minore la puissance physique du gorille pour le magnifier en penseur.

The "Born Wild" concept by Richard Orlinski raises the philosophical question of the difference between man and animal. Choosing "Wild Kong", the most human of his animals, the sculptor gives him the attitude of the Thinker, in tribute to Rodin. Contrary to the original whose exacerbated musculature contrasts with a pensive attitude, the artist reduces the physical power of the gorilla to magnify it as a thinker.
