The "Born Wild" concept by Richard Orlinski raises the philosophical question of the difference between man and animal. Choosing "Wild Kong", the most human of his animals, the sculptor gives him the attitude of the Thinker, in tribute to Rodin. Contrary to the original whose exacerbated musculature contrasts with a pensive attitude, the artist reduces the physical power of the gorilla to magnify it as a thinker.
